Open Face Italian Sausage Bruschetta Sandwich

Vegetable sausage links combined with green bell pepper, onion and seasoned with oregano and balsamic vinegar. Served on Texas toast and topped with Mozzarella cheese.
Ingredients -
10 ounces package Meatless Italian Sausage
1 cup sliced Green Bell Peppers
1/2 cup chopped Onions
1/2 teaspoon Dried Oregano
2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
8 slices Texas Toast, toasted
1 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese
 
Preparation:

1. Preheat broiler.

2. Spray large skillet with non-stick cooking spray.

3. Add sausage, slices bell peppers, chopped onions, dried oregano, and balsamic vinegar to skillet.

4. Sauté 10 minutes.

5. Spread mixture on Texas toast using slotted spoon.

6. Top sandwich with shredded Mozzarella cheese.

7. Broil 1 minute.
