Cuban Sandwich

Pork, dill picles, and swiss cheese on Italian bread. Sandwich is Grilled until cheese melts.
Ingredients -
1 Loaf Crusty Italian bread
4 Dill Pickles, thinly sliced lengthwise
1/2 pound cooked Pork Roast, cut in 8 slices
4 slices Swiss Cheese
8 teaspoons Yellow Mustard
 
Preparation:

1. Heat grill pan over stove top.

2. Cut bread into 8 slices.

3. Layer 4 slices with pickle, pork slices and cheese.

4. Spread mustard over cheese.

5. Top with 4 remaining slices of bread

6. Place sandwiches on grill and place skillet or heavy plates on sandwiches.

7. Grill 3 minutes per side. Cheese should be melted.

8. Cut sandwiches diagonally and serve.

Try some jalapeno dill pickles for a nice spicy addition to this already tasty sandwich.

Cheese Trays
Store prepared cheese trays in the refrigerator. Allow some time for cheese to come up to room temperature.
