Cuban Midnight Sandwich

Dressed hoagie rolls topped with turkey, ham, swiss cheese and heated in skillet until cheese is melted and outside of rolls is crusty brown.
Ingredients -
1 cup Mayonnaise
5 tablespoons Italian Dressing
4 Hoagie Rolls, split lengthwise
4 tablespoons Prepared Mustard
1/2 pound thinly sliced Deli Turkey
1/2 pound thinly sliced Cooked Ham
1/2 pound thinly sliced Swiss Cheese
1 cup Dill Pickle slices
1/2 cup Olive Oil
 
Preparation:

1. Combine mayonnaise and Italian dressing in small bowl.

2. Spread dressing and mustard on hoagie rolls.

3. Layer rolls with deli turkey, ham and cheese.

4. Top cheese with dill pickle slices.

5. Close hoagie rolls.

6. Brush outsides of sandwiches with olive oil.

7. Heat non-stick skillet over medium high heat.

8. Place sandwiches in skillet. Cover loosely with foil and place plate on foil.

9. Cook 2 minutes. Turn, cook 2 more minutes, or until cheese is melted.

10. Cut sandwiches diagonally and serve.

This is a great sandwich on almost any kind of bread. Try a good artisan style bread or Italian crusty bread for a change of pace.
