Baked Italian Sub Sandwich

Hoagie rolls topped with sliced roast beef, turkey, ham, Monterrey Jack cheese, tomato and Italian dressing.
Ingredients -
6 Hoagie Rolls, split
1/2 cup Italian Dressing
1/2 lb sliced Deli Roast Beef
1/2 lb sliced Deli Turkey
1/2 lb sliced Deli Ham
1/2 lb sliced Monterey Jack Pepper Cheese
1 large Tomato, thinly sliced
1/2 medium Onion, thinly sliced
 
Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

2. Brush the cut sides of the rolls with dressing.

3. Layer 3 hoagie roll halves with roast beef, turkey, and ham.

4. Place cheese, tomato and onion over meats.

5. Place 3 remaining hoagie halves on top.

6. Wrap individual sandwiches in foil. Secure tightly.

7. Bake 12-15 minutes.

8. Remove foil and serve.

Italian Sub
Delicious as it is, feel free to substitute salami, pepperoni, etc for any of the meats in this sandwich to make a more authentic style Italian sub sandwich.

Removing Tomato Skin
A vegetable peeler will remove the skin of a tomato, if the peeler is of good quality and sharp.
