Fiery Hot Barbecue Sauce

Perfect barbecue sauce for serving on burgers and other meat sandwiches.
Ingredients -
1 small White Onion
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
2 cups Hot Ketchup
1/3 cup White Vinegar
cup of Molasses
2 tablespoons Hot Pepper Sauce
2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
1-1/2 teaspoons Chili Powder
1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
dash of Seasoned Salt
 
Preparation:

1. Add vegetable oil to saucepan. Heat over low heat.

2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to saucepan.

3. Sauté until onion is tender.

4. Stir in ketchup, vinegar, molasses, hot pepper sauce, cayenne, chili powder, ground coriander, dry mustard, ground cumin, and dash of seasoned salt.

5. Bring to a gentle boil. Simmer 15 minutes.

If you do not have hot ketchup, use regular ketchup and adjust the heat with additional chili pepper.
