1. Place dried tomatoes in bowl, cover with water, and set aside 15 minutes.
2. Drain tomatoes and add to food processor.
3. Add water, sliced olives, dried basil, lemon juice, and garlic to tomatoes in food processor.
4. Process until smooth.
5. Remove tapenade mixture to bowl.
6. Stir in almonds.
7. Season with salt.
8. Serve with water crackers, raw vegetable pieces, or as sandwich spread.
