Cheesy Chicken Crescent Sandwich

Chicken salad sandwich combines chicken with onion, cheddar cheese, sour cream and pimineto. Salad is spread on crescent rolls and baked until golden brown.
Ingredients -
2 cups cubed Cooked Chicken
1/4 teaspoon Instant Minced Onion
1/8 teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup Dairy Sour Cream
2 tablespoons chopped Pimiento, if desired
2 (8 ounces) cans Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
1 Egg, slightly beaten
 
Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 375 F.

2. Combine cooked chicken, minced onion, pepper, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and chopped pimiento.

3. Separate dough into 8 rectangles. Press perforations together to seal and prevent leakage.

4. Spoon about ½ cup of chicken mixture at end of each rectangle.

5. Fold dough over and press edges to seal.

6. Brush with egg.

7. Place sandwiches on 2 ungreased baking sheets.

8. Bake 18 minutes, or until sandwiches are golden brown.
